Anyone want to hazard a guess what I can let a set of 600/30 BKT tyres down to with a mounted 3m trio only going in the field as it's next to the steading??
Whatever the book says for about 3.1t per tyre.

Yeah that's what I did the last time I had 1 ploughingOn the Sumo I would have it like this. Manual on the headland, field cruise in the field.
10-12psi in front and 20-22 in rears if you arent going on the roadAnyone want to hazard a guess what I can let a set of 600/30 BKT tyres down to with a mounted 3m trio only going in the field as it's next to the steading??
maybe a touch more in rears if its an older trio with the large packer as they are a heavy old beast!10-12psi in front and 20-22 in rears if you arent going on the road

No it's the newer trio . No deck weight and I've got 2 front options 500 or 900 ish kgsmaybe a touch more in rears if its an older trio with the large packer as they are a heavy old beast!
Does it have the deck weight on the tractor? The deck weight makes a difference in field, especially when you drop a mounted implement down and lose all the weight off the back wheels, and no more than 900kg on the front, any more it will take all the weight off the back and not pull properly.
I would give 500kg a go, you will be surprised how little weight you need on the front! No it's the newer trio . No deck weight and I've got 2 front options 500 or 900 ish kgs
I remember the first one he gave us when they were first launched I picked it up with no weights and drove to pick them up in another fieldI would give 500kg a go, you will be surprised how little weight you need on the front!
People complain about pillars in cabs etc but one thing this has is plenty pipes to hook brackets onto not many demo tractors I could knock up a bracket out of a couple of off cuts of steel and have everything in and away in half an hour. But I suppose if I was working everything through isobus I wouldn't need to bother
We are meant to having ours weighed today by the tyre man to get the pressure settings for various kit. However he didn’t ring to confirm Friday so don’t know if he will turn up .Has anyone put a 4220 over a weigh bridge I'm looking for specific weight not out the brochure?
Now that would be handy to know!!We are meant to having ours weighed today by the tyre man to get the pressure settings for various kit. However he didn’t ring to confirm Friday so don’t know if he will turn up .

Reasonably accurate against the weight of a 6215r8.3t ish for mine, tier 4 fairly high spec on 540s. How accurate are you looking for, as weight will change by 0.25t ish depending on diesel level.
The Tier 5s are heavier too.
Is my theory ( probably wrong ) that a jcb being 50 50 distribution on 600 tyres gonna be roughly the same footprint as a conventional tractor on 600 front 650 rear?
I'm not needing the science just if I'm right or wrong .
