Hi all, anyone know of a really good ram repair company in S.Staffs/Black Country/Birmingham area who can get stuff done quickly? 1 or 2 we have used are good but terminally slow. just blown an assister ram seal on a 530-70 and need a new seal asap, pref cheaper than JCB parts!

Thanks both, your suggestions are a bit remote from me but if the service is quick that would make all the difference - we haveoneortwo good firms nearer but they are sooooo slow!

When you say assister ram do you mean the self level ram?

Not quite sure which does what but its the big vertical one at the back?
If you remove the ram and put blanks on the pipe ends you can still use the machine but you will have no self levelling, one of my loadalls bent the compensate rams and has been used without for 6months or more.

Thanks everyone, removed and blanked off for now while we get new seals fitted so the pressure is off on this one. I'd still like to find someone who is quick when the devil drives even if they are a bit further from home,if you're stuck sometimes its worth a trip to get running again quickly.
