JCB JZ70 quick hatch coupling

Hi.

My father is a milk farmer from Norway. We purchased a JCB JZ70 excavator and are now having a bit of an odd situation. The excavator has a miller quick hitch attached to it, but we do not know what type of coupling we should have on our shovels. The pins on the shovels we have are 50mm in diameter, and are 300mm long with 200mm distance between the pins.

What is the name of this coupling? What mount do we need on our shovels? Anyone who knows?

Best regards
Arne Petter

Are you sure you have your measurements right?, sounds odd for a jcb hitch.

Usaually a jcb/3cx buckets are 45 mm pins, 180 dipper width and 345 mm between pin centres
The bucket in your second photo looks like a regular jcb bucket.

I would Imagine its just a quick coupler to mount on to standard jcb JZ70 and JS 70 bucket those pins that are 50mm Diameter for some reason the JCB 8080 ones are 45mm so a 3cx size.

the only way to establish that would be to check the width and pitch of the connection between the coupler and the machine against the bucket if its the same you would just need js /jz 70 buckets

Woops, I se mixed the numbers in the original post. The pins are 200mm long and distance between are 300mm. Not the other way around. Went out and measured again, and measurements are correct.

I don’t think I fully understood your post “How much”. What did you want me to measure? Did you want me to measure the pin diameter, width and distance between the pins on the quick hitch where it attaches to the excavator?
