I have a JCB 531-70 2010 with the JCB engine I have the error code E717 showing and the machine is very much down on power, it also says 'Injector metering rail # 1 pressure'.

If anybody can give me any advice as how to sort this problem I would be very grateful.
It is full of fuel, I have changed the fuel filters and the lift pump appears to be working correctly.

Electric fuel pump ?

At the front of the engine, at the bottom, (you'll need to take the bottom guard off) are two big electrical plugs. Take both off and clean with electrical contact cleaner. I had a similar problem on mine a month ago. Hopefully that should cure it. It made mine 90% better, but I've got an underlying injector problem which is being sorted.

Had an error 717 on our TM310s this morning. Clears with a restart and the dealer says to check all connections first. Any tips appreciated before I get dirty tomorrow with the contact clean? (y)
