I fitted spot lights to my Jcb Telehandler 535125 and wanted them to work of the high beam. When I came to the wiring I tested them in the back of the light switch by placing cable into the harness to make sure I got the right wires before joining the cables. But I put them in the wrong place and f**ked everything up. now the head lights and high beam don’t work also the front wipers don’t work, the side lights and the high beam flash work. I’ve checked the fusses and the relays and they are fine. Any ideas on how to fix?

Wonder if you have overloaded or melted something in the switch stalk? I assume you were joining into the existing wiring without going through a seperate relay for the work lights?

Do both! wire them up as normal with separate switch and use there proper power supply, then use a relay off the main beam to turn work lights on.

Easy now you can have it either way if you want.

I did wonder that myself about the switch stalk but that shouldn’t affect the wipers should it? Even the siren that goes of when you first turn the ignition doesnt sound anymore. I will try a new 1 tomorrow. Yeah I was just coming of the existing wiring as they are low voltage leds I didn’t think I would require a separate relay, but I am not that clued up on electrics so I could be wrong

the dash wiring and switches will likely be switching relays so you possibly overloaded it and burnt the stalk out as the main beam switch in stalk is rather poor IMO
