But it's not just jcb! Loads other machines like it?‍♂️
Go look at Horsch kit, or Samson, quality second to none. JCB just do not bother! They would of been better taking some of the brains used to propel Guy Martin down a piece of tarmac onto their quality control division.
If other manufacturers have issues then it is up to the purchasers to start a separate thread.

We had a loader with 200 hrs on that started flaking on the chassis. They took it back and resprayed it, not a rattlecan job, suppliedca loan machine while it was gone also. Have a new shape one since september and no problems yet

You have been lucky to make it to a year with out paint issues normally the black paint around the wheel arches, door and bottom of the engine bay begins to fall off after the first wash. Has the roof turned white yet? :ROFLMAO:

i was refuring more to other loaders, like merlo and manitou, John deere too. it seems they all struggle to paint tin panels!

The best paint i have seen to last although not always the best finish was actually Redrock! because they used 2 pack paint! well the red was anyway.

Ah your comment on roofs reminds me! i not tried it BUT there are several videos on you tube were people restore the colour of faded plastic panels using a blow torch or heat gun and fine sand paper!

One manufacturer which has top quality finish is Rauch. Nice looking and still more important, very good against rust.

Have had merlo on and off over the years and there paintwork used to be one of the worst, however they appear to have addressed the problem by a, the actual paint/undercoat and b, there are now no square edges where the paint used to lift.

I bought three 120’s in 1999 I think, put it this way, I was the one that told and showed them to weld steel bar behind the cutter tooth to stop them shearing the holding bolt. Also they fitted air brakes to them, first ones they had done.
