I’m assuming the old record was held by a teenager with turned up collar, shades on and a phone glued to his lug in a tractor with several cab aerials, 2 rotating flashing idiot lights and a name plate on the front, while on the grass

Previous to that it was a dexta on 38" rears

iirc the early fastrac could do 60 plus so things haven’t moved on that much in the last 28-29 years.....

How fast was the record set by valtra not that long ago?

130km/h. They claim that the only tuning was to alter the transmission by a Pc.

Valtra record was set on snow and ice. Had to come out of a bend as they didn’t have a long enough straight.
Don’t think I’d have wanted to attempt that sort of speed around a bend on snow and ice let alone in a tractor.

That's why they had a retired rally driver doing it. With Michelins he wouldn't have driven over 45km/h on ice
