JCB536 60 HOUR CLOCK REMOVAL

got an 2006 jcb 536 60and need to remove rev counter clock to repair digital hour clock, have removed dash panel .how do you get clock out,theres a big plastic outer grip like a pastry cutter behind it,do I unscrew this?its very tight

yes that unscrews but they can get stuck and be a right arse hole. try a hot air gun and warm it slightly and maybe a small squirt lube.

thanks, can I do it in situ or is it best to disconnect all plugs
