I’m not sure on wheel diameters but it may help if you fit wheel spacers which bolt onto the hub then the wheels bolt onto the hub spacers. They move the wheels out 2-3” each side from memory I’ve used a set here off a JD710 which are identical hubs to the 2130 and 2140 and 6410. Quite surprising when the models span 40 odd years. Our 2140 was on 12.4 38s but used bettison duals. 6410 is on 600 65 38 so they might fit.

From looking at pictures of them on 16.9x34s I'd say 18.4x34 is as tall as you'll be able to go. If you need wider than 18.4, a 520/70r34 or 600/65r34 will be the same height.
I'd go with 520/70r34, it's what we put on our Case 844 which was on 16.9x34s.

Hi , does anyone know what the biggest width/ height wheels and tyres you can get on a JD 2140 4wd sg2 . Without cutting the rear mudguards?...
Now Then..
What ever size you put on the back, you'll have to have the correct size on the front to keep the ratio within specification.
Incorrect wheel sizes will lead to all sorts of problems. MFWD clutch failure being one..
