JD 2630 Adaptive curve issue

My 2630 and SF6000 receiver won't plot more than 1 extra line after recording a boundary using the Adaptive Curve. I have a 2600 and SF 6000 on another machine that is fine & will do as many lines as you want. No problem with AB curves, straight tracks etc. Any ideas please?

I always thought that adaptive curve could only do one line at a time as that's the whole idea of "adaptive" if you want more than that then use A/B curves

I'm using it to do 3 passes around the headland of the fields with the rolls. The centre of the field is fine with the other methods. My other machines do as many lines as needed, why not the 2630?

No recorded boundary available. It's only SF1 so drift means that's no use anyway.

Not worth it on SF1. It will drift.

If it is only used for rolling that day, then drift shouldn't be an more of a issue than with the adaptive curve.

What is the longer term drift like on sf1?

All good thanks. The software is a couple of versions out of date but the downloads of the software won't work for some reason. I want to update the screen and receiver one package at a time.

If you are a few behind it sometimes helps to install the software after the one you have now and then the next one etc.

Our maby it's just the latest version on stellarsupport not working properly, I have the August/september one in now and mine don't want to install the March version either.

I need to speak to my AMS tech but for some reason the previous updates downloaded as executable files, not the usual format that you can put on a USB stick and plug them into the 2630.
