Just a quick question. My 2650 has very sloppy front steering. Power steering is working fine, just that the whole thing wanders about 20 degrees each way and you have to stay on it to keep it from heading for the ditches. What causes this? Thanks

It may have the older style steering, same as the 30 series, a power steering box and draglink to the crows foot on the axle, if the bearings go on it your steering goes very wandery. but if its the more modern set up it will have a steering ram on the axle. the spherical bearings die eventually and cause wandering. post a couple of photos.

Yellow roof MC1, Green roof CC2 usually. Not common for the taper bearings to fail, unlike the older 30 & 20 series with needle bearings.
Check the drop arm, left hand side under cab if early type steering it can work loose off it's splined taper shaft.
Jack up front, grab wheel and check for play working rear wards.
