Jd 2650 steering

A dodgy local livestock friend has a jd2650 with steering troubles.

The steering judders and stops working.
Not really working at all he now says.
Everything else is working fine.

Any ideas ??

Fairly sure the steering is fed off the main pump along with everything else so strange that the steering has gone.
, I think there is a reducing valve in the line it may have failed dumping pressure to tank .

Could be priority valve sticking, Its on the right hand side. Half way along side of transmission, Triangle shape just above the filter, it has a pipe coming out towards the front. It has a spring loaded valve inside. Disassemble and clean out with WD40.
