Have a JD 3650 from 1989. It’s my ”big tractor”. I has been on our farm some 5 years. Has now about 9k hours
Clutch has been done by previous owners at by about 5000 h.
Is there any way to find out how much friction surface left on the clutch plate without cutting the tractor. The other tractors that I have are with mechanical clutch and one can easily find out the condition on clutch plate from lever adjustment rod. But this JD clutch is hydraulically operated… Maybe look from a small hole with an endoscope?? Or how.
