Our 459 conventional baler keeps putting bales out that are still joined together with hay, the knotters are working fine and the bales can be fairly easily pulled apart. It just causes lots of issues with the sledge! we have sharpened the knife and made sure there is no gap between the cutting edge.
Can any one shed any light on this?
Thanks in advance.

Put another shim in to tighten the knife closer , that's all that can be wrong.

in long clean hard hay can be an issue check ram for side ways movement lift the baler door up a bit so the bale has to drop before entering the sledge its normally enough to break the few strands
