Aye-up,

Bit of a bugger, my lad moved the steering column on the 3350 yesterday and soon had smoke billowing out from under the dashboard. Now it’s all gone a bit iffy and next to nothing works.

I disconnected the alternator, crossed the starter and then disconnected the battery to get it home
Can’t beat the old girls.

It’s over 25 years old and hardly been a spot of bother in the 12/13 years I’ve owned it. I’ve had a local firm out today to look at it and just about everything is faulty in some way under the dashboard. They know what they’re doing I’m sure, much better than me anyway.

Is there any kind of rewiring kit available? It’s always a weak spot on these tractors, especially the fuse card. Or is it just a case of buying a load of individual parts?

Yes, that’s one problem, it’s only been on there a year or two.

Could be your wiring is degrading and shorting ours did similar on our 3050 Big Brian over CFM is good for bits

Gosh it's been a while but could have sworn it's on the left side but definitely gives problems and needs checking.
If you've no power to anything then the master plug to the cab is worth checking, outside cab rhs a bit above the brake pedal. They can be slack or faulty
