My neighbour has one,and even tho he has green blood absolutely hates the gearbox.Apparantly there are software upgrades coming but not yet,Profi even mention the annoying auto functions.Dealer has 3 more the same and they are going to swap them all out for command quad ones at little/no cost to owners.

Is the rear cross shaft bent from new on it? As apparently all 5000 series have warped cross shafts and one near me is 30mm difference in height on the main lift rams when the arms are down . Very bad on JD's product quantity team and they seam mega slow to respond and sort for JD

Havent heard about that.I think it is basically a good gearbox, just not suited to loader work which is what most of them will be doing, there will be some cheap command 8 ones about soon if anyone wants a very compact fieldwork tractor.

Had a shot of one with that command 8 gearbox a couple of weeks ago . Lovely gearbox once you get into the way of it buts it’s not for a stockmans loader tractor imo
