It depends on what you want from it and which transmission it has in.
They're not a bad little tractor. They didn't do too well at launch and were quietly discontinued..

I presume to be a 5125r it must be the last version (2017 onwards)? If so:

Pros: Plenty of power with the boost for it's size, brilliant turning radius, decent visibility with the sloped bonnet, comfy if it's got cab and front axle suspension, no ad-blue if it's 2017-19 (I think), decent level of tech if it's specced on it (can potentially have GPS on it/added)

Cons: Poor build quality (American not German), transmission and shuttle are temperamental to say the least, lots of electronics to go wrong for a tractor realistically used by stockmen, pretty small fuel tank, all the filters are exposed so get plastered in mud/muck, no longer made so dealers probably want nothing to do with them

This one is very high spec, probably too much electronics going on for a stockman’s tractor

It won't have a 'vario' transmission, it's not an option..
They are as standard 16F/16R or optionally 32F/16R. Some have a simple push type paddle lever, the fancier ones are fully auto..
There are none with a simple mechanical gear lever..

May be worth having a test drive if you can? Or have a chat with previous owner about any issues?

if you can get it for a decent price then it’s maybe worth the risk taking it into higher hours because theyre much more of a tractor than other stockman options (e.g Case Farmall)

If you think it’s IVT then it’s likely the Command 8 box in it. The problem is that they offer an auto function but it’s pretty poor because the gearboxes aren’t dual clutch so you find it takes longer to change gear than if it just had a splitter button on a manual gearstick. That said if you don’t mind driving it in manual then it’s fine. For loader work, the shuttle is the worst part about it because you can change the aggressiveness but the tractor seems to decide that regardless so that each time you use it either does some heavy wheel spin or takes 10 seconds to think about it. Again though, this could vary from tractor to tractor and would be worth testing if possible.
