Hi all,
So, this summer the 5515 i use for spraying started jumping out of reverse on the left hand reverser. sent it to the JD dealer only to find out that most of the cogs in the gearbox were chipped. It's all mechanical, 4 speeds, 3 ranges, reverse and forward. after 3 months, a 3 page list of new parts and about 150 work hours put into it, taken apart two times, i get it delivered and this happens: the left hand reverser is ok, the ranges change fine but the 4 gears are shite. sometimes it won't shift into gear, it shifts really rough in the first and second gears and it jumps out of the third and fourth while slowing down.
Here's a video of it not going into third, even after moving it a little and jumping out of fourth.
The dealer told me to send it back and they will adjust the sping loaded balls that hold the forks into place, but i just think they have no ideea what to do with it, considering the fact that they had already taken it apart twice. And that they fit a new synchronizer for the first and second gear and that's why it shifts so hard into them but it doesn't feel right...
Can anybody give me a better clue as to what is causing this?
TIA, Radu
