JD 6155R price

The world has gone mad. £100,000 for a 155hp John Deere tractor.

Just a few weeks ago a brand new 210hp NH with front links and powershift box on 650’s was £78,000 with 3 year warranty.

Why would you ever bother ringing up a Deere dealer when you can buy a significantly bigger tractor for considerably less money.

Because some people don’t like the colour blue.

We have just priced a new jd 6130r against the equivalent sized Case, Newholland, and Massey and the JD came out at the same price if not cheaper than the rest!!!! New holland dealer wanted to see JDs quote because he didn't believe us....... few days later he came back with his tail between his legs and said he couldn't even match John deere on price.

A 210 hp NH not a t7.210! It was a stock tractor admittedly but that was the price!

Clives post suggested his quote for NH was not far away from JD and fendt when specked the same.

Not here they weren’t by a big margin.

Then they're out of their minds, JD gearboxes are terrible IMO. Admittedly I've never used a DD or Commandquad. But Powerquad/Autoquad and Autopowr are worse than the CNH offering.

Its a good gearbox, just not as good as the others. Niggly issues such as lack of settings, not coming to a complete stop when stick fully back, over-revving, only two speed settings etc.

Just out of interest which Case and New Holland models were you pricing against,Maxxum 125 and T6 155 would be the nearest equivalents.With the new gearbox and decent spec ,these should be around £60-63k.

Dd is a huge disappointment as well. Only plus to any jd box is a good shuttle and fast reverse compared to nh.

Do you not think that reverse being faster than forward in any given gear is a disadvantage. I prefer reverse being slower than forward.

Correct. Case and New Holland were basic spec as well. Had a demo of the New Holland with there new gear box in it and really liked it...... just didn't like the price.

It’s funny as the Massey cvt I had on demo last week was awful for over revving going down a slight hill on the road with Empty bale trailer yet my auto power Deere yesterday same trailer same hill take foot off throttle and she would just cruise along nicely and not over Rev

That can be set in nearly all tractors now adays, I mean nh range command only does about f%@k all mph top speed in reverse.

Go on then what was damage on the 6130r? Could do with swapping our 6330p with loader for one. But these prices keep frightening me!

£72k 3 years warranty and servicing with mx loader front suspension basic gear box basic spec. With the new gear box your looking at £75k ish.
