JD 6400 ventilation diverter jammed.

The flap and or cable seems to be jammed and all the air is coming out at your feet. The white plastic under the knob that you use to adjust the flow with is all broken off so you can’t use the knob.
Is there a way of getting to the flap so I could adjust it manually?

My 6420 is also getting to be like this…feels very delicate under that knob. Interested in any advice

The quadrant under the knob will be broken. Dash apart sorry.

Would just like to know if I can leaver up
the diverter flap so we can get some air on our face. Happy for it to stay there for the remainder.

You'll need to take the dash apart, as I said.

Now Then..
Why not just take things apart and repair as necessary?? In winter you'll want warm air, and distributed differently.. 🛠
