Now Then..
There's nothing wrong with the 6420S, so long as it's the common rail one...

I’ve owned a 2006 model 6420S & a 2004 6320. The 6420S was superior in every way, a truly great, great tractor! I now have two 6330’s, one standard & one premium. Both are very good, underrated tractors but just brilliant workhorses

Should try a 63p with 140 ponies under the hood.

Avoid the S. Not worth the inevitable inj pump woes for 5hp.

What’s this now? I have an 03 6420s non common rail and it’s an absolute peach(?) It’s got the feel of a 10 series in that it will go on forever. I have 30 series too and I dare say the 20 series gearbox has a nicer, more positive change (autoquad)

Cheer Guys,

Yeah did see the 6320 @Firby's but think non TLS which i want. Have to say as well the 3400 telehandler i had of them was a great buy.
Love to go for 6430 but price jumps up circa £10K!!

My 6420s is really good despite not being a common rail engine and not having TLS. Never had any major work done to it. Only problem I have had are there are some wires under the cab that connect to the forward/reverser unit which are prone to wear if you use it for fert spreading /spraying. I have a 6330 standard with a loader which is great but a little underpowered if I need to move 8 tonne trailers around. I have fitted a Steinbauer chip to boost the power when needed which helps a lot. The 6420s feels better made but both are good tractors.
