JD 6430 snappy shuttle

Our 11,000 hr JD 6430 has developed a very snappy shuttle to the point that you have to use the clutch to save your neck and the clutch is very juddery . I had the dealer do a transmission calibration which did help the splitters and the shuttle a little, but still not happy with it. Any thoughts?

As @Tractortech has said a new proportional valve with more than likely improvements thing, espresso if it’s in both directions. If it was just one direction it could be a clutch on the way out.
I’d start with a transmission service (oil and filters), new valve and a calibration. If you get the dealer to do the job it could be worth getting them to pressure test it as well, if the pressure is dropping slight when hot it can make it difficult to get a consistent calibration.
