Me again, tractor starting to annoy me now, first morning of silage. Was fine then to flashes warning and suspension light which does happen regular but this time a loud beep to and suspension changed feel, still worked but not as well. Got home had lunch, went to mechanic to see if he was about. He was and had look at the wee rod for suspension and it’s ok, plugged his computer in and tractor woukdnt even accept it to fine a fault code. He’s stumped again, it can work fine then suddenly push itself up and work not as well. Then after half hour lights may or may not stop flashing. Any ideas other than a box of matches ? Just Abit annoyed as it’s first week of silage and it’s playing up already
Thanks

Have a lot of trouble with this tractor don’t you? I recall all kinds of issues you’re having with it so why not give a simple list of them on here. I reckon there is a problem somewhere that is causing all the grief such as dodgy ecu plug or the loom got worn through somewhere so really what you’re doing is winning the battles but not the war! Someone might be able to put two and two together and work out the problem.

For first 4 or 5 years I had it it was fine. Last 2 or so have been bad. Since I got the tractor it would bring the amber light on dash on and suspension light on right hand side panel. Wouod happen when it’s warm like at silage, it would do that but still work, but sometimes it wouod either break or slip the rod off underneath. Then within couple days be flashing lights again, all previous times no error codes could be found. That’s what I thought was wrong today but could feel it different to drive. That’s main issue that’s a regular thing, along with that have the warning and battery light flash regular so assuming alternator on its last legs. Think that’s all electric issues at moment. Seal on steering ram gone to so have to order a kit to get it done to. Oh and if changing down through power quad gears at slow speeds it flashes blue and amber light and won’t select gears till turn off and on. When power quad went years back I was told when I turn it off leave it in gear 2 on power quad and I do that every single time without fail every since. If I could get those things fixed be tractor is great other wise and wouldn’t even consider selling

But if the alternator is just pushing enough juice in to almost keep it topped up then some of those sensors are going to spit out all sorts of errors on lower power . You think it's dodgy get your man to check it out first just to rule that one in/out.

Dash been iffy since I got it to. Went to dealer few years ago when suspension was dodgy and first thing they said they can’t get codes till I get a new dash which from memory was £1200 or more. Or I could send it away to get reconditioned for £400 but have to do without tractor for 2 weeks at the very least
