JD 6920 new brake pads very squawky

Hi
Just brought a second-hand jd6920 ( 5000 hrs)
As a piece of mind before we have used it I have sent it off to have new brakes pads fitted and back end oil and filter change ( all genuine jd parts) .
Used it for the first time today for fertiliser spreading and have noticed when I pull up to a junction and apply reasonable pressure to the brake pedal the brakes make a loud squawking noise coming from the brake housing. Is this normal and will the brakes bed in in time.
Many thanks

I think it's more of a grawching noise than a relief vale
The sound takes me back to when the farm lad Leyland tractors

On some tractors the brakes can make a squarking noise sometimes, jd use to do an additive to help reduce it. I’ve not come across the issue for quite some time though so couldn’t say if it’s still available.
where the brake disc soaked in oil before installation? If not it can make the material swell uneven.
As Matthew says though, if your not happy get it looked at before continuing use.

Had the same problem on my 6620 after changing the brakes.. Brake discs soaked, genuine oil, brakes noisy. Advised by dealer to change the oil, no better. Changed it again but refilled with GB lubricants unitrans instead of hyguard . Brakes perfect.

Not sure if they were pre soaked but will ask the question
I take it the brakes shouldn't need time to bed in
Brakes should be fine straight away, no need to bed in.
To be honest I’ve never found brake squark much of a problem on 20 series (I’ve done a lot of brake in my time), was more of an issue on 00/10 series.
They did change the lining material quite a few years ago which did seem to help, it also helped increase the life span of the discs.
