Afternoon, managed to source disc's from spaldings uk. Very good price, but they can't supply the hub and bearings?

Does anyone know if I can get them apart from through JD themselves who I presume would be pricey?

I think the part number is: SH319700, or N214190 (CN283291, AN281856 and N283291)....

Cheers, James

Have you got any numbers off the bearings themselves as with that we could find the bearing easily enough?

Thanks Chris - however the problem is I need the hubs as well as the bearings (so the assembly) and normally in the states there offered together. Just also available through OEM sites readily.

The bearings i have in my spares box are

Disc hub bearing AN281856 quoted at £149 from JD dealer!

hub & bearings $44 . . .

disc & seed boot $78 . . .

so, for less than $130, complete hub, bearing, disc & seed boot

its a pity the postage would kill you
although, at those prices you pay for JD parts in the UK ( very small market ) it may be worth looking at the prices & freight for Australian or US ( very large market ) after market suppliers . . .

With the markup it'd be worth looking into getting a load shipped over here.

With current exchange rate the genuine hub comes at about 280 aud. So at 44 it leaves a lot for shipping and import costs.

Back when I used to do a lot of contracting work with a double disc JD MaxEmerge, it was actually cheaper to buy new complete disc / hub / bearing assemblies, than it was to just buy bearings & new discs individually.
And that was buying originals from JD
