I haven’t seen them for sale in the UK but would be interested to know where from? Considering they’re made in France you’d think it would be possible

I’ve emailed Needham ag today to enquire about some parts (depth control axles and related bits). They are currently looking for a larger quantity to make it cost efficient to deliver to the UK. If anyone else is thinking about ordering some drill spares then maybe it’s worth having a look at their website.

if your shipping from Phil in Kentucky and can’t get a large enough order shoup manufacturing would be a good alternative. I buy most of my non hard wearing parts from them plus a pile of other parts not drill related.

Thanks. Do you have a link to the JD drill parts? I went on Shoup’s website but couldn’t find them.

I’d gladly post it but don’t know how to if it’s a 750 your drilling with the part number is 75097. But the A designation may may mean they are the same as the 1890 I bought a pile of the 1890 ones and they are pretty good.also check the arm that they clamp too,if they have been giggling for any amount of time they tend to be shot. On the arms if they are older design didn’t come with a flat line to spread grease inside the spindle, I would grind a quarter in wide flat place but stop half inch from the seal line. Between shoup and needhams my drill was completely rebuilt 8 years ago. It will be getting new bushings and pins again this year.

I could do with some stuff that's quite heavy

There’s enough slack in them that they move sideways, dirt gets in, can’t get onto the grease nipple then the whole thing goes solid. The weak area is where the adjuster arm bolts onto the shaft. The clamp won’t go any tighter and the bolt wears a bigger groove in the axle shaft. They have done 9 seasons. Poor design, Needham kit looks superior to OEM.
