I just paid 'quite a bit' for a very clean 6310, on the rationale that my local spanner man can fix pretty much anything that goes ping, and if the worse comes to the worse, a factory recon engine would still make it less than half the price of its new equivalent. We'll see.
And I recall startins (?) have had several in from an airport, and asked a pretty stiff price..(knowing they'd be snapped up to go on feeder wagons they reckoned)
I can absolutely see why -if the hours are genuine- the OP tractor would make that money. (how much is a new equivalent?)

Oh I don't know.
the previous 6310 - from another sale- was 70% of the price, and was only 4-5 years old, with 1700 hours!
Am interested - higher or lower than the 6800

I paid similar for a similar tractor so guess that’s where the market is - or we’re both wrong
