Anyone know how to get the windscreen wiper off it’s spindle? It’s got to come apart as I’m replacing the back window glass. Can’t see any obvious way, maybe it just prises off.

Usually lift the cap up and there's a nut underneath

Thanks for the suggestion. I didn’t realise that was a cap on the end. Cracked it now, easy when you know how.

Why are you replacing it..?
As a matter of interest, have you priced Bepco, 3050 rear glass £55, JD been fleecing me for £90 for years.

An implement went through the back window when I unhitched it on a slope. New glass was 230 pounds at the dealer. I’m sure there’s probably cheaper somewhere out there. JD 5100r.

Just put it though the glass replacement on your policy and get the dealer to fit it too, usually about 70 excess...
