What is the lift capacity in Kg`s of a JD 6506 please, in the book and brochure they are written in some Martian speak. will it lift a KV 5 furrow vario plough?

On tractordata it says 5474kg, but that will be at the balls. I would guess it would struggle?
Is it a shearbolt or reset?

shearbolt. Lifts a 5furrow dowdswell 8B fine. Was thinking of a LS 85 -200 headstock.
It’s saying 4,200 lift requirement, should be fine by that but they were not brilliant on lift really...the 150b variomat could be an option too....

Be OK with a short clearance shear bolt KV I would say unless a lump gets stuck on the back furrow. Our 6506 and 6630 standard will lift our auto reset 6 inches off the ground. You can apparently tweak the pump or also fit bigger rams.

We had a very early 6400 which was dreadful and moved on after warranty had expired.anyway I tried my 5 furrow high and long clearance DP7 on the tractor and it handled it perfectly ok.would not want to have it on there permanently though.

Think the 150 BV headstock might be a bit light when on my bigger tractor.
