MX loader if you want a view at all with that gurt bonnet. My mate had a M Series on demo with a JD loader and it was dreadful but ordered an M with an MX and it's a fantastic outfit and came servo type controls and it's real nice to use and it's even in JD green as well :)

I've not operated one, but looking at the engineering design, the r series loader is what Deere should've been producing years ago.

It's now bushed for a start. The geometry has been altered so that it has better reach, and has a more consistent lifting force throughout its full height travel. The parallel linkage now actually stays near parallel as well!

The new designed mounting system to the tractor is a vast improvement, though it does look suspiciously like the MX system.

It still retains the implement locking system that they've copied from stoll. This requires the implement to be fully crowded back to lock, and can close incorrectly without the implement lugs actually being in place. The quicke implement lock system is a far better design.

The crowd and and particularly the tilt angles of the new R series mechanical parallel linkage have also been improved. However quicke have a linkagegeometry where The crowd angle can be increased by an additional ten degrees over the first 90cm of lift. The quicke tilt angle is still better for bucket emptying. Indeed the quicke tilt angle is better even than the MX hydraulic parallel linkage loaders.

Don't bother if you want quality! Used to drive a 6930 with a deere loader and now drive a 6210 now and then with a newer deere loader and they are awful, designed to block the lights whenever possible, pointless bushes in the pivots and crap to take on and off.
I'm yet to use a jd loader that hasn't had bucketfuls of slack in the pivots by the time the tractor has done 1000 hours while I used to have a quickie that had done over 8000 and was still like new! And how many other makes of loader do you know that you have to lift the front of the tractor off the ground to get the mounting pins in and out! The q66 on my t214 makes the deere look like it was made by a 5yo!
You have been warned!

i would think you will need different brackets to do it.
the big advantage of the jd loader will be it will work of the joystick on the arm rest

Having personally used quicke, trima, mx and jd, the only loader I wound ever consider is the quicke. On the jd you can't even see the hooks when your picking the attachments up, it's all feel and guess work.
From about 1000 hours the crowd rams and entire parallel linkage all flops about, and it's not from lack of grease

We have 643r loader on 125r very good loader best John Deere we've had yet! Lot better loader than the 663 we had previously on 6630! Only thing we don't like about the loader is the new self locking pins they can be hard work to get them to lock again

The 643 is what I'm looking at,by self locking pins I presume you mean mechanical ? I'm looking at hydraulic this time as the mechanical one on my quicke isn't the best

The quicke I have now will be on 4500 hrs time I change but really only used a back up to jcb,but I know if I didn't have a loader id miss it

Our 643r has hydraulics locking pins for unlocking Bucket and so on that works spot-on, on the new r serious when you take the load off itself when you drive back into the loader the new self locking pins suppose just to lock but they don't they can be a bit awkward !
