Running sf1 on 6000 receiver, drilling on cultivated land the autosteer is brilliant. When drilling on ploughed and pressed land it is all over the place. I do have a front flexi coil press. What line sensitivity should I be using also steering sensitivity?

When I'm drilling with the front press or power harrow I run steering sensitivity at 150

Thanks. Been playing with it today in a field no one can see. I was advised to take it down to 85 but got worse, eventually worked out it was better at 135, think I will try it at 150 tomorrow.

I find the slower you are traveling the higher you want the sensitivity, if your press has steering you want to be pretty much on the line when you engage autotrac,

I'm the same as you Fraserb ours is at 150 I haven't played with the line sensitivity as it seems fine. But I do know someone who had the ATU and he ran his steering sensitivity way down and now he's on an integrated system he's at 150.

These are my settings, never touch them from drilling sugar beet or combi drilling to tearing about with the vaddy. 20171010_140027.jpg 20171010_140037.jpg 20171010_140135.jpgalways spot on(y)

Tried a sf2 grace period today drilling . Very pleased with it. Yet to try on side of hills though. How long is the free trial?
Also age old question I have a old vaddy with tines in front so it although it doesn't crab like a system disc it tends to hold itself up the side of hills better one way than the other due to the discs running up or down. I've put a 0.04 offset in is this common? Trouble is it's not always crabbing on the flat its the same both ways.

Ive have the same offset on my 6m pottinger drill. Have you entered all the measurements in the machine set up? I think the drill will always crab more 1 way on a slope but it usually averages out and the tramlines are always the right width. You might have to play around with the offsets a bit but you should get it somewhere near eventually

There's a couple fields where our tine drill randomly/annoyingly only crabs one way and rest of the time or when doing a field like a roof of a house it crabs both ways so is even.

Sorely tempted have seen it's an option to fit 1 big disc, to try and cobble one up as I'm sure it would be big bucks for genuine.
