JD T550 question

we went to see a second hand 2010 T550 combine at the main jd dealer's. It has 3k engine hours and 2k threshing hours which would suit us fine as our 9540 wts has 5800 engine hours and is still going fine. The combine was in a good state for her age apart from a couple of things:
1. There is a nasty vibration at the big gearbox under the grain tank where the header clutch is. When starting the thresher it makes a lot of noise until it gains some speed. Also, a lot of vibration at the intermediate chopper pulleys. I made a video of these two. What could cause it?

2. After running it at full rpm for 15-20 minutes it threw a STOP code saying the admission temperature at the turbine is not within limits. Can it be something serious or just a clogged air filter & dirty radiator/intercooler?

has anybody who owns/owned a T series had similar problems ?

Turbo error likely to be a sensor. I’ve just repaired two sensors. One was a contact needed cleaning and the other was the wire had broken where it joins the terminal spade in the connector. A continuity test will find the wiring faults. Sorry can’t help with the vibrations apart from something out of balance. Stating the obvious. You did raise the grain tank lids before running the thresher? The bubble auger in the tank causes vibrations if not extended straight.

Chopper viabration looks like a flat spot worn in the belt where its been slipping to me. Sure sign is if the pain is burn off the pully.

The ECU code is 1180.00, i've searched this forum and it seems to be related to turbo failure. Yes, the grain tank lids were raised.

i guess it could be the belts. i don't think the chopper was unbalanced as there were no vibrations on the case.

Might be completely unrelated but I knew someone with a jd combine that had terrible trouble with vibration somewhere and spent 5k sorting it only to find it started again. Turns out jd knew of the issue and came and replaced the same part again with a modified one and they never saw the 5k back either.

Memory is grey and it was a conversation in passing but it was something to do with a conical mating surface for a pulley getting worn. It was caused because the thread in the shaft that held the pulley on was too coarse and allowed it to come slack.
