Good evening, apologies if this has already been on but what does TLS error code on my 6920S mean 324062 31 SFA?
Stopped and restarted tractor and appeared to work ok. Just recently when stopped the tractor has been sinking down to the bump stops rapidly after the engine is stopped. Any help on where to start looking gratefully received @Tractortech @Phil P and anyone else. Thanks

I am no mechanic but the John Deere website suggests there may be too much weight on the front axel and recommends increasing the weight on the rear axel in either wheel weights or a weight block.

Thanks. Didn’t realise that you could look on JD website.

SFA 324062.31 — No Axle Movement During Travel Although Command Was Given

Diagnostic trouble code SFA 324062.31 is saved when the control unit does not register any axle movement - via the position sensor - within 60 seconds during travel (ground speed more than 10 km/h / 6.2 mph), although the control unit ordered an axle movement. This diagnostic trouble code triggers the alarm level: ”CAUTION”.

Diagnostics

NOTE:
  • The following are possible causes:
  • Circuit fault in solenoid valve circuit (Y10 or Y11) additionally generates diagnostic trouble codes SFA 324044.04, SFA 324045.05, SFA 324046.04 or SFA 324047.05. These diagnostic trouble codes take priority.
  • Mechanical defect at solenoid valve Y11 (stuck in closed position).
  • Defective control block (valves in control block).
  • Hydraulic malfunction.

As above, no axle movement chances are that if the axle is dropping all the time the hydraulics can’t keep up with the raise command.
Check the pressure release screws are both tight on the top of the valve block, after that it could be an internal ram seal/Oring on a solenoid or a stuck valve.

Thanks everyone. Would the fact that it has the hissing steering and therefore possibly the dodgy o ring in the brake valve be relevant?

Hissing could be caused by the suspension trying to constantly correct its self, pull the fuse for the tls and see if the hissing stops before pulling the brakes to bits.
