Drove one last year

hell of a machine but hell of a price tag !

unfair comparison but you could buy like 6 or 7 used lexion 600’s. for the same price have any 2 broke down at a time and still have the other 4 or 5 cutting way more than any top output new machine can

comparison of used vs new is not fair of course but such price tags do need perspective from alternative solutions !!!

Yeah if you happen to have 4-5 experienced combine drivers sat around waiting....

I should like to know the weight of that tractor trailer combo on the road!
Edit: 8400R is nearly 15t, TB24 trailer 7.2t, plus, what, 25t of wheat at standard spec weight...nearly 50t...would you want that in a video?
Defies belief that anyone would not see what is wrong here.
Never mind will probably be the first to complain when their outfit is held up by a bicycle, or their diesel tank is visited by our travelling friends

Yep I guarantee an X9 isnt twice as quick as a new 10.90!! Quicker, yes, but certainly not twice as much when the 10.90 is the latest version with 700hp and Intellicruise. I live virtually in the middle of Waldersleys massive estate and X9s are common round here this season 😉 ............Two big farms at Kings Lynn have three between them plus a few 790s, Waldersley have one and 10 miles down the A10 another huge farm has at least one. Eubrinks had two on the go last week I was watching alongside their remaining Lex 780 in a decent wheat crop, same size headers and the JDs were quicker but not massively so. Im guessing the 780 was doing 70 tonnes an hour average and the JDs 80-85 judging by the trailers leaving the field. Would be interested to see the X9 going head to head with the Lex 8900 and the latest 10.90 with a 45ft Macdon on the front, that impressive trio would clear some wheat!!

I did say ‘nearly’ twice the speed and in this instance the NH could only manage 3.5km/hr with a 40ft header as it had losses. The X9 was doing 6.5km/hr with a 40ft header with zero losses and a better sample. If I hadn’t seen it myself I wouldn’t of believed it.

something wrong with the 10.90 then as this is the world record combine !

record is rather out of date now I reckon - most competition have different models now

i suspect there will be s few challenges this season, last few years have not produced the crops required for world record breaking

“zero” loses ? is that really possible ?
