Seems like the JD single disc units are pretty popular with you fellas
Single discs are pretty popular here, we have at least 6 or 7 different brands to chose from, but many parts are interchangeable & they all share the same concept.
Anyway, just wondering if you blokes have seen these steel scraper rings which go on the gauge wheel tyre. They are a game changer. Allow you to keep going in much stickier conditions, you can run it up hard next to the disc keeping it clean, without chewing out the lip on the tyre.

We also use them on our double disc precision planters like the JD Maxemerge, as they are the same tyre / wheel
