Anybody signing up to prime to watch Clarkson may as well watch Vikings. Although it does get a bit far fetched towards the end.

Might be worth starting a thread of good things to watch on Amazon Prime.

I'm watching the series for the second time. Partly because I nodded off during some of it first time round, partly because it is so good and partly to see if I could decipher what Gerald was on about.
It really is quite superb.

It’s in the credits of all episodes. Doesn’t state they are related so I guess not, but nobody seems to know. There are similarities for sure….

Yes but I think all the problems and mistakes encountered during the year, albeit somewhat staged, does draw attention just how difficult it can be to farm effectively. Particularly highlighting the red tape hoops to be jumped through might help with some non farming perceptions of the job?

The Coopers from Northleach, Cirencester.

They're from Ciren - the show is filmed in Northleach, trouble is we now have tourists coming to visit who spend most of their time taking photos of the bus stop and looking in through peoples windows.

Episode 4 is my favourite so far. Only on episode 5 now. I think, in a lot of ways. I think like him, ecologically, the countryside is ours to look after. Unfortunately I can't afford to do it on the scale he has. The insect bit, and the wood thinning, were brilliant.

i thought there was? thats why he had to get a biologist in to do an enviromental impact survey

I'm guessing it was a stewardship job, leaky dams and ponds to catch floodwater are all the rage atm.
