Why hasn’t anyone asked how much to buy one yet?

Yes I've even seen some with a small chequer plate box at front.
This one is obviously a feeding platform but maybe for my circumstance and type, a small calf box on hang off brackets would be ideal as and when needed

When you and @the-mad-welder get into mass production the list of optional extras could be endless.
I do think the design could be made to bolt together, post transport ..........
Maybe a touch ambitious to despatch them by Royal Mail :scratchhead: - not easy to get one of those in your average postbox o_O

You know what I mean !!

Before I started down this road, I had emailed two German manufacturers to ask if the could make one that bolted together in strategic places so it could be transported more economically

Is it/ does it need to be Type approved for road use? Thing that made me think was lack of mudguards, but then plenty of trailed implements don't have those either. I'd also be tempted to have a safe refuge in one corner, something like the marts do in the sale ring, although perhaps your cattle are too tame to need such a thing. Just my luck I'd take in a new born calf and the mother would follow at speed - and these sides look a bit of a climb !

Impressive project whatever, and I too would be keen for an indicative cost to buy. I hope that mad welder has kept the rights to the design ;-)

I'll let @the-mad-welder have my plans and he's had so much input anyway

I suppose I could put a drum on a rope as a leg up but I can't ever see getting a new born cow and calf in there tbh (only calving assistance)

No need for mudguards it's an implement not a trailer (like a conventional baler or whatever)

Little try out with some yearlings tonight. Just caught them up for a while ready for splitting them Wednesday. Hock chain hung up and if I wasn't wanting it left set up I'd have tried them around the field walking
