We have 3 Jersey x Lims in our Limmy suckler herd. Whilst they are vulnerable to being bullied by the Lims they are usually way too intelligent and crafty to be caught out.

I've seen Sheep do something similar whilst on my travels.

I think we're probably best not knowing what they're planning!

Poor old bull has his work cut out! 30 crazed nymphomaniacs. Probably should have put angus on heifers but we like to do things differentley here outwintered, zero concentrate since weaning. Hoping for some compensatory growth, from grass. Between now and calving

These are the in calf heifers due to drop in the autumn having a lick of grass.

Salbri bull ?

No not a Salbri he was bred by Lodwig Parry-Jones Ty Mawr Herd, Llangwyllog. He sweeped up well on the first batch considering he was only 15m at the time and he has a really good temp, typical of a hereford.

Looking back we were Very lucky to have the opportunity to buy a well bred group of heifers so close to home. Hopefully they will give us a fantastic herd foundation. Look forward to learining and improving as we go along.

Is there such a thing as a jersey bull that is positive for fertility, negative for cell count, and has a tidy udder? (Linear scores for daughters udders, before some smart arse starts up) I can't find any. In sexed as well btw.

Apart from a tiny negative on body depth, VJ Huzar would tick those boxes or VJ James but with slightly poorer udder quality.
