we have a jersey stock bull for the hfrs, one of two, we reared together, both march 19, one, we put with a group of hfrs, served 2 and turned really nasty, and went pdq, the other we still have, surprisingly quiet, not that we would take any chances, and we will use him on another bunch, this month. This one was bought at rock bottom price, £100 at 4 months, full pedigree, just looked him up, again on jersey search, pli has dropped from 230 to 190, plus on milk, static on constituents, and very smart to look at, probably a good buy, just the f'### bull calves, but dead easy calving, comes with a cost ! Just interesting to see how good some of these stock bulls are on paper, as always, the definitive answer is 2 yrs away.
