JF Combine Harvester

Last year I acquired a JF ms 910 combine harvester. Took a fair while getting it setup on the tractor but once in the field it ran an absolute treat. Perfect little machine for our small acreage.
It would be great to hear from others operating one, who else will be combining with a JF this year? Also i'm keen to pick up a manual for if anyone has one?

Only 10.. 15 acres this year hopefully! Our trusty Fiat 450 on the trailer

Does it give a good sample, much losses over the back? Not a contractors machine but cant see why there's not a niche for them as a farmers machine. A combine is a bit of an investment for a small acreage.

Yep, in the atic somewhere I reckon. I would have been given it early 70's.

I seem to remember that Harry Ferguson designed a wrap around combine. I saw it in a catalogue of accessories and implements that were available in the MF 35 to 65 era.

I’m not sure that the Ferguson version ever reached production.

Not to bad. Will be able to get it hitched on and out the shed in under 15 minutes I reckon. Initial setup took time, bolting the front and rear drawbar on machine in correct position for the tractor.

Kidd made a trailed combine based on a nh 8060, it never reached production, but what happened to the prototypes?

Archie Kidd made all sorts of bizarre prototypes. As we were a large farm close to the works we were at times used as a test bed. I often had the chance to try them out - not always successfully.................
