I'm pretty sure such determination has the opposite of the desired effect.
It certainly only causes irritation hereabouts.

In another career I had applications did not include names, ages, far less sexual or religious stuff.
You could work out the age by the school exams but nothing else.

What if, as a white Scottish person I applied? What would be the response? You are too white. I see a film director has been criticised for not having enough Hispanics and Latino actors of a dark enough skin colour. Where is all this taking us.

I’m pretty sure it wouldn’t be legal to say “This opportunity is only open to White British people”.
