Whichever way you look at it, America is on the way down from it’s second wave while Europe is just starting theirs and America has killed less people per Capita.

I'm not convinced re. USA second wave. Sure, the numbers might reflect a double bump on the cases if you look at the whole country, but I think that refects the progressive spread of the virus across a vast country rather than a second wave. Look at the stats for New York, for instance - it's up and tailing to nothing in alignment with the first bump. Then California - it's a slow start and then a single spike now. Put them together and you get a graph that looks like a second wave, but I wouldn't say that's what you've had.

As for US having less people killed per capita, well I wouldn't like to judge them - fewer perhaps, but not necessarily less.

I wouldn't trust anything written by UK media, however "well balanced" (Independent ) or otherwise, they are the bastions of the increasingly radical Liberal left. I was listening to Mr Trump's speech yesterday and he was talking about the radical liberal left and I was just trying to work out what he meant in practice. trumps accept speech was a classic example. To start with he stayed on script and landed a few punches even if it was done in his weird way of speaking when on autoq . but then we wandered off script and simply started lying and lying but the crowd lapped it up..
No idea what it means but it’s been interesting to note that more people watched bidens speech than the Donald’s and just for balance more people watched Mike Pences speech as well.

I think it means A social democrat European style politics. With the state doing more than in America. The radical bit I think currently embraces many things from the cancel culture being carried out by the extreme left to “defunding the police” (which means moving money to other areas like drug workers social workers etc) and political correctness which means different things to different people.
