I think they are based on older designs and built in Brazil but I may be wrong. That doesn’t mean they are crap though, I don’t know anyone with one except perhaps @Dman2 runs a 1570 thinking about it

Indeed it is an updated 1170 (brazillian disaster of the 1177) with a newer cab and 6.8l engine. Evolved into the 1450 & 1550 CWS which are still being made now.

We have a 1470. It's been a good combine so far (9 seasons). It has been reasonably reliable, we have had one breakdown that has stopped us cutting. It has had a few smaller niggles but neither the breakdown or any of these have cost much to fix. It does need the straw walker drive chain replacing evey 3 or 4 years as it stretches, but a new chain is only 20 or 30 quid.
