Hi! I have a John Deere 2140 with opu cab, made in 1982. I want to upgrade with a front loader. Whe dont know what is the oil output volume of the hydraulic pump (40 liter/minute or 80 liter/ minute), to be compatible with the cab valve. Somebody can help me? Thanks in advance!

Yes, closed centre but the simple closed centre type, not ones with sensing lines, which are not used on these tractors.
If its done over 8000 hours, the pump may need an overhaul.
40 litres a minute is OK for a fairly modest loader but be aware that there is no separate steering pump on these tractors and since steering takes priority, the loader will slow down and even stop lifting while you are steering.

Please plumb the loader in properly with its own spool block and a joystick. This is far better than trying to use the loader simply plumbed to the two tractor spools [or whatever Deere call them] and connected through the rear Quick Release couplings. The two levers in the cab, particularly on the OPU, are unpleasant to use this way and they have detents if I remember correctly.
