Coming off the small hydraulic reservoir at the front of the tractor there are 2 small hard plastic pipes, one goes down to the hydraulic pump and the other goes over the engine and disappears under the cab, it’s snapped and I can’t find where the end of it goes as it’s all gone brittle and broke into several pieces, any ideas? @Phil P @NZ Tech @Tractortech cheers

If it's like a 2450, it tee's into 2 other brittle ones behind a panel at the bottom front right of the dash.

It goes to the top cover on the transmission, you’ll need to remove the cab floor mat and the plate to get access. If you know where to look you may get it from the side under the cab but it’s a easy to pull the mat out.

Tomorrow’s job now, doesn’t sound to bad, is it an air breather or oil pipe?
It’s both, it’s a case drain for the hydraulic pump but it allows air in and out of the oil reservoir as well. There should be a small plastic float ball attached to the bottom of the fitting on the top of the reservoir that opens and closes depending on the oil level in the res. When it’s closed oil from the pump drain returns to the transmission, when it’s open oil and air go into the res.
Hope that makes a bit of sense.

Took floor plate out and found it, cheers for all the help lads, that makes sense @Phil P all looks dry so that’s good but still not found my mystery leak! Looks like it could be coming from the steering valve, are there’s repairable if it is that? Cheers

Best thing to do is clean any oil off, either pressure wash if possible or if in the cab use some brake cleaner solvent. Get the oil up to temperature then see if you can see the leek. There is a couple of bungs on the steering orbital that can weep if the O-ring perish.
If I remember right the return oil from the steering goes to top up the brake reservoir via a rubber hose, It’s worth checking that isn’t perished also or the clips may need tightening.
