John Deere 3050 rebuild

We bought this 3050 30k, standard lift non turbo around 20 years ago and it was our main tractor until we bought the 6900 6 or 7 years later.

It needed some work and a few new parts so I will let the photos do the talking...

Bottom ended rebuilt 3 years ago. The aim was to fix or replace any broken bits and leave it rust free.

Head fully refurbished, new water pump, belts, hoses, new exhaust, new injectors and seals, refurbed hydraulic pump.

Replacement spool control arm made as the existing one was cracked/split, new battery boxes made as one was always missing, the other got damaged over the years.

New seat, new decals, new front badge, new rear window and side window including hinges and catch.

Bodywork, all rust cut out and replaced, painted in 2pac paint. Wheels blasted and painted.

3050 is now sold as we transition from green to red. Replaced with Massey 7495 from a forum member

Next up is the 6900, only cosmetic for this one. Then it will also be for sale as we move to a fully red fleet.
