John Deere 3350 or 3050 with 40k gearbox

Im looking JD 3350 or 3050 with 40k gearbox with mechanical problems for reconstruction. Price around 2000 £ (export to Poland )

Yes, particularly with a 40k box.

I would have expected a 3050/3350 with a blow engine or gearbox will still be worth 5k upwards depending on how tidy it is. Any thing under 5k will be a dog!

Speedy maybe You are right (I didnt see JD 3050 in UK ) but I don't know how, but they go to Poland jd3050 in price 3 to 4 k pounds its moving junk (most of them). (no tires , rusty cab and rest of tractor ) I think none of the sellers arrange shipping for charity If they sell it for 3-4 K What is their margin on the tractor (?)

Margins is another matter and the exporter tend to load the waggons up well to keep there costs low but if you are buying junk, you will spend as much on tyres and making the tractor look tidy as it will cost to repair a gearbox or engine

So I have to prepare an amount of 5 k for JD 50series to repair? (from farmers or salesmans -is better ?)

I would think that would be more in line if the tractor needed major mechanical repair
