Ok so after 3 or 4 hours mowing silage with a side mounted mower the back end gets really hot. on idle the main pump then gets starved for oil have done all internal seals except for the lift cover. Any ideas where else I could have a lo pressure leak causing the oil to heat. Or is it possibly a high pressure problem? Any help would be greatly appreciated..

If you had a low pressure leak the PTO would be slipping would it not?
Double check oil specification and increase oil level if you can?
Pressure / flow test low and high pressure circuits if still in the dark

You haven't a hydraulic service working to hard, like working a standard slice on the mower?
As you probably know those JD's all had closed center hydraulics.
