John Deere 440 combine

Hey. Anyone had any experience of John Deere 440 combine? Think they used to be a Sampo which was a Finnish brand. Seem to remember someone telling me they were simple design, reasonable build quality and pretty good in damp conditions. Would appreciate any feed back . Thanks.

I think you are right about them being sampos.

We had a MF26 which was a Sampo 2065 painted red. Good wee combine, could float on water and would climbed hills very well. Getting spare parts became a nightmare though as no parts stocked in the UK and everything had to come from Finland.
