John deere 5125R. What's the verdict on this model?

Hi all.... thinking of buying a 5125r with a standard 16/16 gearbox, complete with front end loader to replace a very tired 6230. Anyone got any opinions on this model and my major question is how reliable are they......? I wouldn't wanna spend a few ££££ and have a tractor that keeps breaking down... Any common faults with them...?
Your opinions would be glady received..
Cheers all...

Ulcle has 1 with a powershift tranny. I totally hate it. The tranny is just not as nice as powerquad its slower at changes. Dont like the side dash compared to normal position. Spool valve levers is in bad position and the front suspension is nowhere near as good as tls plus has a heap of nipples requirin regular grease. If it was me id go for a 6120m

Ah man another bad review, I was hoping for good feed back on them ?? must admit I did av one on demo last yr - only for a couple days though & I really liked it.... We got an old 6620 & I'll be honest power wise the 5125r left it for dead I couldn't believe it..... I said to the dealer this is an old gag this - chip the demo up so its got serious power to make um look good..... He absolutely assured me not that's wat they're like - little pocket rocket.....! I dunno its a job to know wat to do though we're only upland stock farmers & a new tractor to go feed some round bales & ted some hay now costs £60/70,000. Its crazy the price of them now hey.......

We have a 5115, it is a great tractor to drive however it is constantly coming up with error codes and the dealer is always sorting, fixing things on it.

So £70,000 with a loader then???....? Its a serious figure for a loader tractor.... How on earth could a stock farmer justify this.....??

I'd be real keen for one but they about £15,000 to dear.... When we bought our 6230 new bk in 08 it was £38,000 now they've jus gone silly money.

Don’t buy one
We’ve got a 5125r loader tractor, done 1200 hours 11 warranty claims, brakes are rubbish they hiss at you when working the pedal travels to the floor, the back end snapped off pulling a jd1365 mower, cab leaks, transmission is very jerky, overall very disappointed with it, plus they’re not cheap to buy
